This looks like what every program should use

April 13th 2007

I know every time a program crashes, I want Microsoft to know about it…...tools. Maybe it would be better to inform the company that made the software. This does it, and it looks to do it in a very slick fashion.

ODBC Connection String Generator

March 27th 2007

This is a life saver. I hate ODBC and MSSQL Server. Everything works so nice with MySQL, but when you are on Windows and having to deal with it’s crap, ODBC can help out and this page generates the connection string for you. Granted the string isn’t that complex, it’s still nice to not have to think about getting stuff connected, and be able to worry about the actual data and what you’re going to do with it.

Renaming SharePoint sites with stsadm

March 13th 2007

This was very useful today. I just don’t like how you have to delete the first site before you can ‘restore’ it with the new name. There’s that few seconds between commands when you shake a little and hope it will work as planned. :)
