When Tears Stand Still

November 11th 2007 09:11 pm

Catch me now
I think I’m falling
My tears stand still
As they fall with me

This feeling felt before
But falling much faster now
Never had the time to watch
My tears as they froze in time

Falling to a familiar place
But which one will it be
The horrible darkness
Or a new high

I know I fall alone
As I fall in silence
But whether I fall alone forever
Takes forever to learn

I do not know
Which way I fall
I must wait, and wait, and wait
For the end to come

Only then will I see
Have I hit bottom
Or reached a peak
It will be clear

When tears stand still
You wish they moved
But my tears stand still
Oh please let them move
